Before stepping into executive leadership, Marc began his career as a classroom teacher, where he developed a deep understanding of the transformative power of education. His leadership is grounded in a commitment to literacy, equity, and creating pathways of opportunity for the next generation.
Julie Fischer is the Regional Director of Make Way for Books and has been an educator for 35 years, with most of her teaching experience in preschool and kindergarten. She is passionate about early childhood education and sharing the power, joy, and adventures that books and reading bring to children. Julie is dedicated to helping children and families discover the lifelong benefits of literacy.
